Google Glass - It's More Than Novelty...

We’ve been watching with interest the latest news and developments with Google Glass. As digital visitor technology buffs, we’re always on the look out for new digital innovations for our clients that will enhance visitor experiences and build in interactivity for wider audiences. Google have said that they’re taking the time to ‘reset their strategy’ and there is no doubt that they will continue to research and develop this or a similar product. The potential for this type of wearable technology is endless as long as there is integration with other products and that high-quality apps for this kind of product are developed, which was something that had ground to a halt with regards to Google Glass. The Google Glass case study supports the ethos that we continually work to – that digital technology needs to be fully integrated; that users need to understand why they’re using a piece of technology and what benefit it will bring; that it needs to be affordable; that it needs to look and feel slick and user friendly; and that the novelty factor isn’t enough!
